Opportunities to Serve
During Worship
We’re getting there! We’re making progress in
transforming to a discipleship church, and worship teams are a
huge factor.
We thank God for the way that
worship teams are helping us grow as a faith community focused on
Christian worship and mission. There is an excitement about what God
is doing here at St. John’s.
Transformation is never easy,
however, and we still have a ways to go to become the church God
intends. Imagine what this place will be like when each worship team
easily fills its positions for the month without outside volunteers!
Worship will be ever more joyful and the bonds of community greater.
As we begin our third year of
worship teams at St. John’s, I ask
everyone to take seriously
their role as disciples of Jesus. Please give your assigned month a
high priority, and make every effort to help your faith community
encounter God in that month. Discover the new meaning worship has
for those who step out in faith.
