Confirmation
All confirmation students should now have received their
registration information in the mail. Did you get yours? If you did
NOT receive the registration form and information – please contact
the church office! To help us in our planning, please return your
completed registration form and fee payment
($20) by September 1.

5th and 6th Grade:
This year, you will be studying the Old Testament of the Bible. You
will meet for 5 weeks in the fall… 5 weeks in the winter… and 5
weeks in the spring. Your classes begin Wed., September 12th @
6:30pm.
7th Grade:
The 10 Commandments are the focus of your study this year. Your
class sessions begin in mid-October.
**5th – 7th graders: We will be putting the Acolyte schedule together in the coming weeks. If you have a preference as to which worship time you want to be assigned, please return the form to the church office by Sunday, August 26th.
8th Grade:
Your focus of study this year is the Lord’s Prayer and Worship.
Sorry – you’ll have to wait until January to begin your classes.
9th Grade:
Mark your calendars: You and your parents will be serving the
Confirmation Celebration Banquet on Sunday, October 21st. (This
will give you an idea of what to expect next yearJ). The 9th
grade year is the year of faith mentoring. Have you “chosen” who
you’d like for a mentor? **PLEASE return the form to the church
office by Sunday, August 26th. During the fall semester, you and
your mentor will meet one Wednesday / month, beginning in November.
10th Grade:
This is your BIG YEAR! Are you ready to affirm your faith… and
“become” an active participant and leader in the congregation? Mark
your calendars:
> The FAITH RETREAT is scheduled for Saturday, September 22 [10:30am
– 3:00pm], with lunch included.
> Group pictures will be taken Wednesday, October 10th.
> The Confirmation Celebration Banquet is scheduled for Sunday,
October 21.
> And, the Service of Confirmation will be Sunday, October 28 @
10:30am.
