Ministries

  • Worship
    Carried out by many people at St. John's in the following areas: Altar Guild, Communion Servers, Lectors, Music Directors, Pastors, Ushers, and Worship assistants.
     
  • Faith Family
    Provides intentional support and resources for the parents and families in our congregation as they train their children to Know, Love and Follow Christ.
     
  • Confirmation
    Provides adolescent students an opportunity to learn about their Lutheran doctrines of faith by studying the scriptures and Luther's Small catechism, and to practice their faith through hands on experiences of service in the Church and the community.
     
  • Caring
    A quietly active group that support the following programs: New Member, Home from Hospital, Heal with a meal, Hallmark and Funerals.
     
  • Senior and Shut-in
    A very active Ministry provides support to the elderly, retired, sick, homebound and nursing home residents of our congregation.
     
  • Community and World
    Through a variety of events and activities, this Ministry brings the physical and spiritual needs of people near and far to the attention of the congregation
     
  • Evangelism / Outreach
    Our mission is to fulfill Christ's greatest commission: to spread the Word of God and to present St. John's as a place of love, warmth, truth and worship.
