Welcome.

St. John’s Lutheran Church is a people formed in the waters of Christian baptism to be a fountain of life for all who gather here, overflowing into a river of compassion for the world.

What is the first thing you notice when you walk into a church? The first thing you should encounter in a Christian church is the love of God in Jesus Christ. If that is not plainly visible, then the rest of what happens in there doesn’t really matter. We at St. John’s constantly experience the love of God in Jesus Christ. We try to reflect that love by being a fountain of life for everyone who comes through our doors. We strive to share that love by letting it flow into the community and the world.

St. John’s is not a place for people who are perfect. It is a place to experience forgiveness, renewal, community, love, and hope. Come on in, the water’s fine!

The Old Testament contains many books of the prophets, whose word continues to speak to us today.

On the principle that actions speak more loudly than words, adult education will spend time checking out unpublished prophets such as Deborah, Nathan, Elijah, and Elisha.

Please join us on Sundays, May 7, 14, and 21, at 9:30 a.m. in the Promise Room.
