Welcome.

St. John’s Lutheran Church is a people formed in the waters of Christian baptism to be a fountain of life for all who gather here, overflowing into a river of compassion for the world.

What is the first thing you notice when you walk into a church? The first thing you should encounter in a Christian church is the love of God in Jesus Christ. If that is not plainly visible, then the rest of what happens in there doesn’t really matter. We at St. John’s constantly experience the love of God in Jesus Christ. We try to reflect that love by being a fountain of life for everyone who comes through our doors. We strive to share that love by letting it flow into the community and the world.

St. John’s is not a place for people who are perfect. It is a place to experience forgiveness, renewal, community, love, and hope. Come on in, the water’s fine!

Are you feeling blessed? Are you feeling cursed? Or do you wonder what these phenomena are all about? What exactly are blessings and curses, and what does the Bible have to say about them? These are some of the questions we will explore in adult education.

Please join us on Sundays, January 7, 14 and 21, at 9:30 a.m. in the Promise Room.
